Rick and I both love reading – lots and lots of reading. We’ve each been known to read 3-4 books a week. But reading that many books can cost an arm and a leg, unless you take advantage of the wonderful services of your local library.
Rick grew up in Garden City and he’s always had a soft spot for his home town library. That’s why he was excited to meet Theresa Manuel from the great non-profit group: Friends of the Garden City Library. He offered to design a website for the group. Take a look at the new site.
In order to keep the site as current as possible, Theresa wanted to learn how to do her own updates. We gave Theresa a few short lessons on how to add blog posts and change out graphics. We even spent a little time teaching her some Photoshop tricks, so she can update and maintain the site on her own.
